Houlihan`s in Columbus

This is a nice place! The bartender was super quick to welcome me and offer assistance. She was very well versed on the beverage and food offerings and was precise on her delivery. The restaurant was clean and well decorated/lit and is a very welcoming space. The food I ordered was very good and the portion size was perfect! I really like the diverse selection of food offerings and even with it being 10pm on a Sunday, the entire experience was on point!

Arrived at 2:15pm, Sunday afternoon, very few tables filled. Didn't get our food until after 3:00. Grilled chicken salad was awful. Chicken was burned and overcooked. Tuna poke nachos were awesome, Kansas city burger was really good too. Service has gone so far downhill, we will not be going back.

Attractive setting. Food was supurb. My companion had Korean Chicken, a spicy dish, that he loved. I had the salmon with dill sauce. I am not a fan of dill sauce, but complemented the fish beautifully. I substituted the mashed potatoes for brown rice which had a subtle pineapple flavor. Asparagus was crisp without being hard, and we'll seasoned. Our server was efficient and pleasant. Oh. We did try the stuffed mushrooms. They too didn't fail to please

While passing through on family business we were fortunate to spend Super Bowl Sunday at Houlihan's. My granddauhter's and I sat at the bar to view the game close up. Kalin our bartender/server was so gracious, personable and attentive to our appetizers, dinners, drinks and us that we will always visit Houlihan's while in Columbus.

The Blackberry Bourbon Smash is incredible! Have two!

Loved the service and even tho my order of wings was wrong, the supervisor came out the kitchen and personally fixed it and gave me a sample order as well. Great bartender

The best place to dine in Columbus hands down. My hats off to the chef. Tastes of perfection. The menu and wine list is incredible and will please anyone. The atmosphere is suitably laid back for date night or dining alone. Priced perfectly for repetitive business.

Party of 4 here tonight. Our server and bartender was Daniel, who was amazing. Ask him for a sangria....you'll thank me. Service was great! Dining room, halls, bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There's an outside dining area, as shown in pictures. Worth a visit!

A good size restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and a decent-size bar. I went with a large party of 20 people and were easily accommodated. The steaks we ordered were very tasty, as well as the cocktails. I also recommend the fish and chips, plus the burgers. I will be returning to this place soon.

We had a great server. Said that he was actually the bartender and seems like he went out of his way to greet us! Which is great! The food was delicious and I highly recommend the tuna nachos to any seafood lovers!

my boyfriend and I came here last Friday night. Jessie was our server and she was absolutely amazing! she recommended the shrooms, ad used so much detail that we just had to get them. She also recommended the pink elephant drink to me, and I loved it. She was super attentive, even when she looked like sh was super busy. She is seriously one the best servers we have ever had. We will not only be back to see Jessie but also for the amazing food.

Had dinner here last night with wife and 2 other guests. The waitress was great and very personable. The food was ok, didn't seem to be seasoned very well, but the wait time for the food was crazy. Took close to an hour to get food for a table of 4.

We went here for our birthday dinner! You get a free entree just for joining their club, no purchase necessary! Our server was very nice! My food was good except I found out I'm not a fan of rissoto lol place was nice and clean!

I love that you can access Houlihans from the hotel lobby. My waitress was extremely friendly and my entree (southwest chicken wrap) was delicious. I was very excited for dessert, and ordered the ultimate brownie sundae. Unfortunately it just was not good. The brownie itself was bland and had more of a cake-like texture than a chewy brownie. I didn't even finish it. Other than dessert, this was a good meal.

Great staff and the old Mill hotel is a neat stay too. Close to Broadway eateries and river walk.

Amazing structure with amazing history. First time eating at a Houlihan's and will definitely go again.

The experience is what you make it. Whether it's with a large group or a date night. When I was there years ago it was kinda busy on a Friday night, but what decent place isn't busy on the weekends? My experience was enjoyable with my date

Great service, food and drinks! I am always so pleased with everything when I leave. Ask for Nolin as your server, she is awesome! Very friendly and attentive.

I'm sure the food is great, but I waited an hour and a half to get seated only to leave being told another hour was needed. Poor communication on wait times, staff seated several groups before us. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Love sitting outside. The location is phenomenal and the area is historic and super cool. Great place to hang

deja = awesome I can tell her attitude is genuine and not just a server persona... her bright personality brings smiles all around I suggest keeping her around or possibly moving up or better yet keeping her one of the best servers I have ever encountered... this is now one if my favorite go to places if she's working

Well it went from 5 stars to one star I was with a party last night it was not good the problem was resolved but my food was undercooked alone and my fries came out cold the drinks were good but the good was a fail. I was very disappointed at the end of the night.

The Chef Taywon is amazing! He actually cares about the food that he cooks!!! Please try the sliders because they are amazing. On another note, Branden was an awesome bartender and made the best Agave Margarita’s. Hands down, the best service and the best food in town!

I wasn't satisfied the first go round. However, The food and drink were both pleasing the next few visits. The customer service is great too. I'll be back.

The food was alright and the staff were a bit underwhelming. It took 20 minutes for the server to come back with my check and that was after most everyone had left and the restaurant was fairly quiet. The décor was really nice though and the location is great if you're walking around downtown. I would avoid this place during peak hours.

The place and service was amazing but when it came down to my food. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was really just not that good. I tried my brothers meal and it was the best waffles ive ever had. But ill have to come back and order something else so the rating can change

Food good, manager...well, let me say, Just experienced a very displeasing experience with management (Kurtis). I had a complaint in which I requested to discuss with him.The poor waitress attempted to accommodate, my request. However, I waited 10 minutes to see him, before I decided to just leave. Please note: my original complaint was that we had waited 20 minutes to simply get a to go container, plus to additional 10 mins.to speak with him.Upon leaving, one of the hosts, offered to get him. Well, as I'm expressing my concerns, he rudely interrupted me and became argumentative. I walked away as it was obvious he was seeking an audience from other customers outside. He continued to talk being condescending, as I walked away. I was totally embarrassed and insulted by his unprofessional behavior.

1 of the worst experiences we have ever had! I will never return! Started off, they made my drink wrong...strawberry basil lemonade but they made it with mint instead. Had to send back. Wanted my soup to come with my meal and came out like an appetizer. My spouses alfredo was dry so we asked for more sauce. Didn't get the sauce until the rest of us were done eating. Server was not very attentive either. Had manager come over and kept making excuses and not very apologetic. Offered is a free desert. Acted like someone was trying to get over. Too many other options in this world. Lost our business!

The atmosphere was great! The waitress that waited on us made us feel special! She paid attention to detail, offered advice which helped us to decide what we should order! Thank you!!

Visited here for a graduation at the base. I didn’t know Houlihan's still existed. The food was amazing. I had the salmon which was well prepared with asparagus and mash potatoes side. The avocado toast was great. Margaritas were well made. The server “Sarah the Great” was really great! She is witty and charming. Thank you for the visit.

My cousin Debra Willis won a door prize it was a dinner gift card to Houlihan's in downtown Columbus, GA. She took me (Pam Hovey) and my sister Lisa Willis out for dinner. We had a wonderful waitress name Daje just took such good care of us. The food was great.

What I did get was very good they only gave me the steak and the vegetables. I have one picture of what it's supposed to look like and then the other of what my plate look like

TBH, we rarely eat at chain restaurants but I am so glad we did! We also enjoyed a lovey hot breakfast buffet the next morning with scrambled eggs, truly delicious bacon (more delicious than normal! Very sweet and salty!), sausage, French toast, steel cut oatmeal, grits, fresh fruit, and all the fixings. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive and the decor is fun and relaxing. I would eat there again!

We visited for lunch and drinks. They had several drink specials and the patio area was a nice place to enjoy the sun with the dogs. We stopped here with a couple and ordered raps and salad. The key here was our waiter. Our waiter was a young black man of exceptional character. He had a wonderful smile all the time. Delivered our food fast and hot. We do not remember his name however, but thank you!

Hate to write a bad review but my food was burned... No flavor on the brussel sprouts, the veggie burger was crispy! Crispy! For a $16.00 meal, it was not worth it...and the service was super slow. It wasn't even busy that day. Our server disappeared and we had to find others to help us, took over 30 minutes to get our food. I was very disappointed. Had heard good reviews but was disappointed.

Brandon has been The best of all ..he has kept me coming to Houlihans for the last three years at least 3 or 4 times a week. He is so special.

Very disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. I had come to Houlihan’s on a Friday night with a group of about 12 people, an admittedly large group. We had called ahead to make sure we would be seated and they explained there would be about an hour wait for a large group. We all agreed that that was understandable and were fine to wait. While waiting, several groups walked in of 6 or more people and were seated almost immediately, ahead of our own group. After an hour and a half of waiting, we approached the hostess to ask if we were any closer to being seated. She told us that there was no space for us and that we could not be seated. My group and I traveled from Auburn, Alabama, about a 40 minute drive. It was no easy trip to not even get close to being seated. Very disappointed.

I'm a regular. The Chef is great. Tell Daniel at the bar the the little Jamaican sisters Tini and Neeko said let you make me a drink. He is super cool....Great food, atmosphere. The entire staff are heavenly. Always accommodating. It's in Marriott so of course. Hopefully you catch me in the lobby playing the Grand piano. You won't be sorry

Sarah "The Great" was GREAT!!! She entertained us, took excellent care of us & I can't wait to come back.

The food was fantastic! The service was fantastic! I only wish we had one in North Georgia to eat at. Our waitresses were great. Very efficient. I will definitely eat there when I am in town.

I love it here. The service is always so friendly and cheerful - especially Nolin. We've had her several times and she delivers a super fun time. She's full of suggestions - and it's always so yum.

Last Sunday my family and I went for brunch, everyone was pleased except for my lunch which consisted of a Ceasar Salad which I picked through to take out all the brown lettuce. Not a enjoyable lunch for myself.

Had a business meeting with some colleagues Thursday night .... we all got the same entrees cooked medium my friends came out medium but mine was borderline well done our server deja was very on top of things didn’t have too ask anything she was always one step ahead I am a former restaurant manager and whoever the young lady was who brought the food out (Not our server) should have made sure things were right before bringing it too the table .... it was fixed (I’m assuming manager brought it out) his response didn’t seem genuine but ehh whatever my colleagues were done eating by the time I got mine (Big guys who eat pretty fast) food was alright but service is better next time we come into town and stay at the Marriott we will make sure we ask for deja extremely professional and quite funny

TERRIBLE. The kitchen at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. Not only did it take over 20 minutes just to find out that the kitchen was out of an ingredient for our dish but it took over an hour to receive our food which was just chicken, waffles, and pancakes. The food was extremely plain, maybe they forgot to season anything in the hour it took to cook. However, despite the kitchen being ABSOLUTELY INEPT, our server, Nolin was absolutely fantastic, she catered to all of our needs despite the struggles the kitchen must put on all of the servers at this establishment. We would be happy to have Nolin serve us at ANY establishment but unfortunately would never eat here again.
